ZENOLINK
Zenolink is a three-dimensional motion analysis technology that is used to evaluate biomechanical performance during a sport specific activity. The 3D motion data allows us to pinpoint mechanical breakdowns and relate them directly to physical limitations. Using this information, a customized training program can be developed specifically to benefit any athlete’s performance.
What is Zenolink?
Zenolink is a diagnostic tool that uses standard video cameras and innovative software to provide highly accurate information about an athlete’s functional performance during a specific activity. Data produced by Zenolink testing quantifies both performance and injury potential through biomechanical measurements that include joint ROM, body segment coordination, and outcome parameters. |
 |
How does Zenolink work?
Using mathematics, Zenolink creates a 3D representation or model of an individual performing a given activity or motion. Using that 3D information, Zenolink is able to make calculations and quantify biomechanical performance.
Zenolink uses standard video as a collection medium and a manual digitization process to create 3D motion data. By using standard video and manual digitizing, Zenolink is extremely flexible and highly efficient at collecting and processing data.
More about Zenolink technology
Because Zenolink uses standard video cameras, data can be collected in all environments, including controlled and uncontrolled situations: indoor, outdoor, practice/game, and actual workplace setting. |
DARTFISH
Dartfish, a Two-Dimensional Video Analysis |
 |
Dartfish software for two-dimensional sports specific motion analysis to determine whether an individual athlete has any biomechanical or technical faults. The information collected provides the SPI NH team with a baseline of data. The data is analyzed and the appropriate athletic program is developed to optimize athletic performance. The software has the following functions: drawing and measurement tools, a zoom tool, a blend function, overlay images, and graphing functions. |
|
An athlete’s general symmetry will be assessed, left and right hand athletes can be compared, and performance variables such as distances, speeds, and angles can be measured and graphed. Following this video analysis and evaluation, the SPI NH team will work with the individual athlete to set goals and design a customized exercise program.
“Video doesn’t lie,” states Dr. Trottier. “Most people know the ideal of how to move in a kinesthetic sense, but they may not be there. ZENOLINK and Dartfish connects these two realities – what you think you’re doing and what you’re actually doing. Video analysis makes stronger, faster, and exceptional outcomes possible.” |
